Comics Update

I’ve been really bad about keeping my own website updated recently, so sorry about that everyone. I’ve got several really cool projects going on right now, and I wanted to share them with all of you.

The big one right now is The Empty Grave Vol 1: Daddy’s Little Girl. Dan is working like crazy in order to get this book done, and he is turning out pages that are going to blow you guys away. In less than a month we are going to send the book to the printer’s, with a target of the first week of November to ship out copies to our Kickstarter backers and to Chicagoland area comic book stores. We’re also going to sell copies on our website, so keep an eye there for when our online store launches.

Jason Muhr recently finished the artwork on Old Soldiers, and our colorist Erick Arciniega is working on coloring the pages right now. When that is ready, I will be posting the full comic here on this website for everyone to read. Jason has done a tremendous job, and I’m excited for people to read it.

Ryan Simmons and I have just started working on bringing my script Lucid (though the title is changing soon) to life. Ryan is a very talented artist that I met through our monthly Chicago Comics Creator meetings, and I’m very excited to bring this story to life with someone of his caliber.

Finally, I’m starting work on a brand new script for a one shot that I am doing with Zach Bosteel. The as-yet-unnamed project is going to be a ton of fun, and I’m very excited to get started on it. The comic revolves around a young magician and her quest to save the world of magic from destruction at the hands of an evil super scientist. I’ve just started the script, and I can’t wait to get more done on it.
